About me

As a sailor, I always have a keen sense of my bearings. Over the years, I have learned this is essential for great marketing too—you have to know where you are, first. To me, storytelling is one of the most important forces for change in the world. In my career, I tell stories through visually creative content and data-driven insights.

Though my career focuses heavily on digital media, my favorite hobbies are not behind a screen. I love to read, write, take photographs, write calligraphy, and needlepoint. To me, the best “content strategy” is a well-organized bookcase.

I've spent the past six years working in marketing and communications. My experience has been dynamic, I’ve worked at scrappy companies where my entrepreneurial spirit and creativity powered my work every day. I’ve collaborated with all kinds of cross-functional teams to launch and grow brands, manage digital products, and learn as much as possible from customers. I also ran my own business, Wavecrest Calligraphy, as a freelance calligrapher. One of my proudest achievements: my calligraphy has been gifted to powerful women I admire, including Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Ellen Degeneres.

Today, you will find me pursuing my MBA at Georgetown McDonough School of Business. Well, you will actually find me at my dining room table attending virtual classes, connecting with colleagues, and searching for an awesome internship for summer 2021.

I’m passionate about connecting consumers to products they love and use every day. For my next adventure, I hope to take my marketing expertise and the skills I’m learning in my MBA to a marketing role at an innovative company that cares deeply about the consumer and the world.
